it’s time to calm that inner critic.

Therapy for adults experiencing anxiety and executive functioning challenges

Is anxiety making it hard to enjoy the present moment, no matter how much you try to, “calm down?”

You’re not alone. And it’s not a matter of willpower. Anxiety often shows up as racing thoughts, tension in the body, or a constant sense that something is wrong, even when things seem fine on the surface. It can make even small decisions feel overwhelming, fill your mind with “what ifs,” and leave you feeling disconnected from the people and experiences that matter most.

Sometimes anxiety isn’t the primary issue. When focus is inconsistent, tasks pile up, and organization feels overwhelming, the nervous system stays in constant overdrive. Adults with undiagnosed attention-related concerns often develop chronic worry, internal frustration, and avoidance or procrastination after years of feeling “behind.” By addressing executive functioning challenges at the root, we often see anxiety decrease naturally, not just by calming thoughts, but by reducing the daily overwhelm that fuels them.

Therapy can help you slow down, tune into what’s really happening inside, and respond with curiosity rather than fear. Through intentional, evidence-based work, you can learn to relate to your thoughts and emotions in new ways, strengthen focus and follow-through with practical systems that actually work for your brain, and experience a deeper sense of calm and steadiness in your daily life.

You’re ready to take a new step and begin moving toward the clarity, connection, and calm you’ve been hoping for.

supporting adults through life transitions

You can begin to explore your values, beliefs, and sense of self with kindness and curiosity, without the pressure to have it all figured out.

As emerging adults (ages 18 to 30) attempt to find balance in their various life roles, anxiety and depressive symptoms often surface or re-surface (i.e., symptoms may have first emerged during childhood). This stage of life often includes identity exploration, shifting relationships, academic or career pressure, and navigating increased independence. I work with emerging adults to find creative ways to breathe, reflect and learn from life experiences, and build healthy habits.

School, like medical or professional programs with heavy coursework, long hours, and constant expectations, can lead to stress, sleep disruption, and burnout. While it’s a time of growth, it can also feel overwhelming without support. I work with students to find creative ways to stay grounded, live according to your values, and build focus, time management, and coping skills that help you thrive in school and beyond.

I also enjoy supporting adults of all ages. Whether you're facing a new chapter, seeking clarity, or simply wanting to reconnect with yourself, therapy can offer a meaningful space to grow. I work with each person to understand their unique challenges and strengths, helping you build practical strategies and a greater sense of balance in everyday life.
